Java Junction

Java Junction is an inclusive and accommodating coffee shop located inside of Ingersoll-Rand Federal Credit Union at 1970 Elmira St in Sayre, PA.  Founded in 2024, Java Junction was created as an extension of Penn-York Opportunities’ efforts to provide opportunities for neuro-diverse individuals to practice, learn, and maintain the skills necessary to obtain meaningful employment.

Java Junction prides itself on the integration of community vendors wherever possible.  At the coffee shop, we utilize a signature blend of coffee specially roasted for our shop by Pirate’s Brew Coffee (Sayre, PA), whole milk from Bradley’s Country Creamery (Athens, PA), raw honey from Jeliff’s Farms (Columbia Crossroads, PA), and baked goods from Birds Nest Café (Athens, PA).

Java Junction’s name was chosen to represent an intersection at which opportunity, equality, and independence overlap for both staff and customers.  It’s a place where diversity isn’t just appreciated, it’s celebrated.  With diverse working staff, quality options, and low prices Java Junction aims to be an option for all.
